NSA's Junior Soccer Academy

The Original Junior development program

Juniors Ages 5-9 AND Mini Juniors Ages 3-5

Our NSA Juniors program began over 25 years ago as one of the first of its kind in the area for early youth soccer programs. Our Juniors program is for young players to learn the stages, skills and love for soccer.  We have our Juniors training sessions for ages 5-9 and our Mini Juniors for beginners, ages 3-5.

The first step along the NSA developmental pathway is our Junior Development Program.  The program is designed for children 8 and younger and focuses solely on elements of ball control where a 1 to 1 player to ball ratio is emphasized.

Each individual is introduced to the game of soccer through the usage of skill based games creating a FUN and engaging learning environment.   Creativity and maximizing touches on the ball are strongly encouraged throughout the sessions.  The skills learned at this stage will aid in each player's confidence on the ball and help them along their developmental soccer journey.

All players will be taught by our professional, experienced and licensed coaches , which makes our program unique since you will receive quality training from a coach with 20+ years of coaching experience! These trainings are taught in a positive environment and are valuable for any child that wants to bridge the gap from park district recreational soccer before entering into our Pre Travel program, our travel soccer teams or simply to learn new skills and become a better all around player.
